An eggs benedict


ニューヨークに来たら、朝食は絞り立てフレッシュオレンジジュースとノンストップで注がれるアメリカンコーヒーとエッグベネディクトを老舗のダイナーで頂きましょう。
ニューヨークタイムズをバサバサしながら人間観察するのがおもしろいです。こちらはJoe Jr. Restaurantでの一品です。

You should have a glass of fresh orange juice, unlimited cups of American coffee and an eggs benedict as breakfast at an old fashioned diner when you come to New York City, I think.
And let's pretend to read New York Times and do people watching there. That must be so interesting. I had this plate at Joe Jr. Restaurant and it was good.
People do whatever they want here and let's see what's happening.

An afternoon that I ran into Mr. Wong Kar Wai!!!!!!!!!!



Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran into Mr. Wong Kar Wai at soho this afternoon!
He is one of my favorite people in the world! I've been fascinated with his films since I was in junior high school. Working with him was one of my dreams from kid.
When I found him, my heart was beating so hardly. I tried to ask him to take a picture with me then he asked his friend to do so for me. He was very quiet, kind and looked handsome (tall, skinny and clean!). During with him, I was shaking because I was talking with THE Wong Kar Wai!!!!
Awwww, I am really really happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

あああ、本当に幸せ。

A delicious scallion fried rice



ねぎチャーハン。

ネギを大量に頂きました。なんとか新鮮なうちに全部使い切りたいと思って、ねぎ油を作ることにしました。
ねぎ油を作った後の中華鍋にはおいしい油が一杯鍋ぶちに残っています。これを活かしたくて作ったのがこのねぎチャーハンです。
まじ、うまい。
このチャーハン、ほんまにおいしい。
つくりたてのねぎ油に焦がしねぎ、ご飯とたまごと調味料だけ。
ねぎ油のうまみを最大に活かせたシンプルなチャーハンです。
チャーハンと真剣に向かい合っている人には是非お試しいただきたい一皿でした。

作り方

材料(一人前):
・ねぎ油(きざみねぎ、しょうが・にんにくのみじんぎりをサラダ油とごま油とオリーブオイルをブレンドした油の中で弱火で色づくまで揚げるようにほっておく。)
・しょうが(みじん切り/一片)
・たまご 2個
・ごはん 茶碗一杯
・塩(少々)
・鶏ガラスープの素(少々)
・ねぎ(みじん切り/ひとつまみ)
・しょうゆ(少々)
・こしょう(少々)

①熱々に熱した中華鍋をねぎ油でなみなみとならす。
②しょうがをざざっと炒める。
③たまごを鍋に入れて、油とよく混ぜる。
④たまごが半熟ぐらいの時分に熱々ご飯を入れて手早く炒める。
⑤ごはんがほぐれたら塩と鶏ガラスープの素を入れてさらに炒める。
⑥ねぎを入れて炒めてこしょうをささっと。
⑦火を止める直前に鍋ぶちに醤油を半回し程たらしかけて炒める。

熱いうちに食べる。
ねぎ油のうまみがなんともいえんうまい。

Scallion Fried Rice.

I got a lot of scallions. I got an idea to make scallion oil by them because I wanted to use them before they get ruined. 

After I made the scallion oil, there were some scallion oil on a wok that I couldn't remove. This scallion fried rice was made by a desire that I wanted to use this oil that I couldn't remove somehow.

This is fantastic!
This fried rice is amazing delicious.

This is made by only fresh scallion oil, rice, eggs and simple spices.
It is the simple fried rice which was able to make use of taste of the scallion oil in a maximum.
It was a menu that I'd like to let people who really like fried rices try.

How to cook

Ingredients (for one):

scallion oil (put in chopped scallion, ginger, garlic to blend oil by canola, sesame, olive until their color change to brown like fried)
2 tablespoon scallion oil  (put in chopped scallion, ginger, garlic to blend oil by canola, sesame, olive until their color change to brown like fried)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chicken flavored broth mix
1 small bunch scallions, sliced
1 cups cooked white rice
1 tablespoon sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper

Directions:

Heat 2 tablespoons of scallion oil in a wok over high heat. Add the chopped ginger then the beaten eggs and fry until they are half cooked. Add the cooked rice and stir-fry until the rice about 1 minutes. Add salt and chicken flavored broth mix. Add fresh scallion and pepper and stir, stir, stir. Before remove heat, add soy sauce from side of the pan then serve.

About sushi



わたし、ほんまに寿司が大好きなんです。

昨日、ブルックリンは太郎すしへ行ってきました。
寿司屋ではカウンターに座るのが好きなので、カウンターへ通してもらい、酒を飲みながらアペタイザーをつまみます。
ここではEDOMAE NIGIRIをお願いすることが多いです。こちらはシェフのおまかせ握り9貫が寿司下駄に盛られてサーブされます。
寿司は人をほんまに幸せにしますね。
見た目もうれしいし、寿司はうまいもの。
寿司が出てきたら瞬間的に目かアタマのシャッターが切られ、その皿の上の様子が記憶に焼き付けられます。これ、私の特殊能力。
寿司はいい。

いつも思うのですが、寿司を食べた翌日はなんか、唇の血色が良くなっていませんか?私はいつもそうなのです。寿司を食べた翌日はステキ唇で一日過ごすのです。


I really love sushi.

I went to Taro Sushi in Brooklyn yesterday.
I love to have a seat on the counter at a sushi restaurant. So I did so there and started to enjoy cold beer and some fresh appetizers.

When I visit here, I usually order EDOMAE NIGIRI which is 9pcs chef's choice sushi on the special plate for sushi (we call this as 'sushi geta').
I'd like to say sushi makes people absolutely happy!
Sushi on the sushi geta plate looks so gorgeous and taste is fantastic.
When sushi is served for me on my table, my eyes or brain's camera shutter is released automatically and the scene is memorized on my brain as my memory like a picture. Well, this is one of my wonderful secret special skills as a mutant.
Sushi is FABULOUS.

By the way, do you think your lips look sexier than usually a day after you ate sushi? I feel my lips are sexier then always. I enjoy the day with sexy lips after I ate sushi.  This is also an additional great point to eat sushi, I guess.
